I can't breathe.
I can't think straight.
I can't make myself believe this.
Admiral Jean-Luc Picard, my captain when I was young. A person who taught me more about right and wrong than you could possibly believe. He was brought to life by the amazing Sir Patrick Stewart, and he died today.
I can't stop crying. My childhood is officially dead. And I mean that. I can't really get into what I'm feeling. It's too raw, and it hurts too much.
Safe journey, Captain. We'll see you on the other side.
